Office Chair Manufacturer Supplying Ireland

We manufacture office seating in Casablanca and ship it to Irish importers, dealers and corporate buyers. Chairs enter Ireland free of customs duty as an EU member state, with a EUR.1 certificate issued for every shipment.

The duty position

Zero import duty, and the paperwork that proves it

Ireland is in the European Union, so the EU–Morocco Association Agreement applies directly: Moroccan industrial goods are admitted free of customs duty. The agreement is only worth what the documents are worth, so here is what travels with the goods.

EUR.1 certificate

Proof of Moroccan origin, issued by Moroccan customs and supplied with the shipping documents. Without it your broker cannot claim the preferential rate, so we issue it as a matter of course rather than on request.

Tariff heading

Swivel office chairs with height adjustment are classified under heading 9401.30. Your customs broker uses it to clear the goods; we state it on the commercial invoice.

Documents supplied

Commercial invoice, packing list, EUR.1 certificate and the certification documents for the models ordered. Everything your broker needs, in one set.

Who we supply

Three ways Irish buyers work with us

Dublin concentrates the European shared service centres and support operations of a large number of multinationals. Those are floors of continuous-use workstations, replaced on a cycle — which happens to be the setting where our own corporate deliveries have been made.

Importers and wholesalers

You buy by the container and resell to dealers or end users. Minimum order 100 units on the Challenger and 20 on the Exclusive, EXW or FOB Casablanca, with export documentation prepared for every shipment.

Office furniture dealers

You need a second source alongside your existing supply, with a reorder in one week rather than weeks at sea, and the option of your own branding on the product.

Corporate and facilities buyers

You equip offices, shared service centres or several sites at once and buy direct rather than through a dealer. BIFMA and EN 1335 certification covers procurement requirements, and one container covers a full floor.

Why Morocco rather than the Far East

A short supply line, and a second source

Replenishment

A reorder of a model we have already run for you takes one week, because the setup is done. The same replenishment from East Asia sits on the water for weeks. That difference decides how much stock you have to hold.

Certification

BIFMA 2011 and EN 1335-1-2-3:2016, the European office seating standard that Irish specifiers and public buyers reference. Certificates are supplied with the quotation rather than after the order.

Second source

Importers who already buy in Asia use us as a second origin rather than a replacement: a different continent, a different tariff position, a different set of risks on the same product line.

The figures to work from

Every figure assumes chairs shipped disassembled, which is how export orders leave the factory. It is the single factor that decides what you pay in freight per chair.

Questions Irish buyers ask

Importing from Morocco, in practice

Do Irish importers pay customs duty on office chairs from Morocco?

No, provided the goods are accompanied by a EUR.1 movement certificate. Ireland is an EU member state, so the EU–Morocco Association Agreement applies: Moroccan industrial goods are admitted free of customs duty. We issue the EUR.1 with every shipment.

What is the minimum order quantity?

100 units for the Challenger operator chair and 20 units for the Exclusive executive chair. Mixed orders are possible — ask us for the exact container plan on your combination.

How many chairs fit in one container?

A 40ft High Cube holds 360 Challenger or 200 Exclusive chairs, shipped disassembled. A 20ft holds 150 or 80 respectively.

How long does a reorder take?

One week, because the setup is already done. A first order of 100 Challenger chairs takes 15 days and 100 Exclusive 30 days, counted from order confirmation. Sea freight is added on top and we confirm it for your port in the quotation.

Are the chairs certified for Irish corporate and public procurement?

Yes. BIFMA 2011 and EN 1335-1-2-3:2016, the European office seating standard. Certificates are supplied with the quotation, not after the order, so your procurement team can review them before committing.

Do you manufacture, or do you resell?

We manufacture. The chairs are produced on our own line in Casablanca, where we have been making them since 2008, and we own the moulds our plastic components come from. A mould is an investment tied to one specific part, which is why a reseller has none.

Can we order a sample before committing to a container?

Yes, and we recommend it. A sample lets you check build quality, upholstery and assembly before placing a first order.
