Our Office Chair Factory in Morocco
2,000 m² of production in Casablanca, manufacturing under our own name since 2008, BIFMA and EN 1335 certified. This page exists because the first thing a serious buyer wants to know is whether there is a factory behind the catalogue.
What the factory is, stated plainly
On the capacity figure. 600,000 a year is the theoretical ceiling of the plant at full load, not an output you should plan against — ours or anyone else's. The number that governs your order is the lead time: 15 days for a first order of 100 Challenger chairs, 30 days for 100 Exclusive, reorders faster. We confirm it in writing with the quotation.
Most suppliers do not own a line
A large share of the companies offering to supply office chairs place your order with a factory they do not control, in a country they have not visited. Everything below follows from owning the line, and none of it can be arranged after the fact.
Technical answers
A question on a mechanism, a foam density, a fabric rating or a test report reaches the people who built the chair. No intermediary filters what is worth forwarding, and no answer arrives after your tender has closed.
Changes on the run
Fabric, colour, mechanism, armrests, your own label: these are production decisions. A reseller can only sell you what the catalogue already holds, which is why a reseller never says yes to a specification.
Parts, years later
Gas lifts, castors, armrests, mechanisms and upholstery are our own components. A fleet of chairs is maintained for years, and what usually fails is not the chair but a part nobody can source any more.
What the country of production changes for you
Where a chair is made decides what you pay in duty, how long your money sits at sea, and how fast you can reorder. These are not marketing points, they appear on your landed cost.
Duty
Moroccan industrial goods enter the European Union free of customs duty with a EUR.1 certificate, and the United Kingdom likewise under the UK–Morocco Association Agreement. We issue the EUR.1 with every shipment.
Distance
Casablanca is a few days from European ports and on the direct West Africa routes, rather than several weeks from East Asia. A shorter line means a smaller safety stock and less capital afloat.
Second source
Importers who already buy in Asia use us as a second origin rather than a replacement: a different continent, a different tariff position, a different set of risks on the same product line.
The invitation a trading company cannot make
Buyers placing container volumes, and procurement teams putting a supplier on a list, normally want to see the plant before they commit. We would rather you did. Tell us when you can come and what you need to see or verify, and we will organise the visit around it.
If you cannot travel, say what you need documented instead — a production line record, photographs of a specific operation, a test report — and we will put it together.
The plant, in questions
Where is your office chair factory?
In Casablanca, Morocco. The production area is 2,000 m² and we have been manufacturing under our own name since 2008. Morocco sits on the Atlantic, a few days from European ports and on the direct West Africa routes, which is the practical reason importers look at it rather than at the Far East.
What is your production capacity?
The maximum theoretical capacity of the plant at full load is 600,000 chairs a year. That is a ceiling, not a current output figure, and no serious buyer should plan against a ceiling. The number that governs your order is the lead time: 15 days for a first order of 100 Challenger chairs, 30 days for 100 Exclusive, with reorders faster because the setup is done. We confirm both in the quotation.
Do you actually manufacture, or do you resell?
We manufacture. The chairs are produced on our own line, which is why we can answer a question about a mechanism or a foam density directly, change a fabric or a mechanism on a production run, and supply spare parts from our own components rather than from a third-party catalogue that can be discontinued.
Which certifications does the factory hold?
BIFMA 2011 and EN 1335-1-2-3:2016, the European office seating standard. Certificates are supplied with the quotation rather than after the order, so your procurement or compliance team can review them before committing.
Can we visit the factory or audit it?
Yes. Buyers who are placing container volumes or putting us on a supplier list normally want to see the plant, and we would rather you did. Tell us when, and what you need to see or verify.
What origin documents do you issue?
A EUR.1 movement certificate, which is what gives Moroccan industrial goods duty-free entry into the European Union and, under the UK–Morocco Association Agreement, into the United Kingdom. It goes with the commercial invoice, the packing list and the certification pack on every shipment.
Can the chairs be made to our own specification?
Fabric, colour, mechanism and armrests are decided on the production run, and private labelling is available. Both have to be settled before production starts. This is the practical difference between buying from the factory and buying from a catalogue.
Talk to the factory, not to a reseller
Models, quantities and destination are enough to start. You get the price, the lead time, the container plan and the certification pack.
